Safety Tips

Meeting people in real life comes with risk — whether you connect online or in a bar. The world is chaotic, unpredictable… but also full of possibility.
These tips aren't here to limit you — they're here to help you move confidently and protect your peace. Trust your gut. We've got your back.

1. Meet in public.

Always link up in well-trafficked, public spaces like parks, cafes, or community events. We’ve intentionally curated the list of Experiences in 4RL — take advantage of these. TBH: these spots probably have the best vibes anyway.

2. Drop in with a friend.

You can use 4RL solo or as a crew. If you’re trying something new or venturing out of your comfort zone, bring a friend and explore together.

3. Check the vibe.

4RL runs on mutual energy. If someone isn’t matching your vibe or seems uncomfortable, fall back. Consent is the baseline — for connection, conversation, and energy.

4. Keep your circle posted.

Let your people know what’s going on — especially if you’re meeting someone solo or outside curated spaces. Share your location with someone you trust.

5. Use your instincts.

If something feels off, trust yourself. You don’t need to justify your decision. Change your mind, leave early, or opt out entirely — it’s your call.

6. Report anything sketchy.

We’re building this community together. If someone breaks trust or gives off unsafe energy, report their profile so we can take action.

7. Protect your peace.

You don’t owe anyone your time or energy. Move with intention. You’re here to connect — not to perform.
